Budokan: Naha City Okinawa
The Budokan, or Okinawa Prefectural Hall of Martial Arts, is located in a corner of Onoyama Park along Route 58. It is a well-equipped and functional facility, the goals of which are the promotion and popularization of martial arts as well as youth education and heath through sport. The hall is furnished with a main arena, wood flooring and mat-floor rooms, a training room, a Sumo arena, study and conference rooms and much more. Since its opening, the Budokan has welcomed many world Karate and Kobudo tournaments and events. It is also a hall that holds plenty of various events throughout the whole year.
